Screen-Pop makes warm transfers smooth. The moment the Entrovox AI transfers a call to you, the extension pops the lead’s name, number and what the AI already learned onto your screen. You can greet them by name and pick up right where the AI left off, even when Entrovox isn’t your focused tab.

1. Getting started

Entrovox turns on screen-pop for your agency during setup. If you’re connected but never get a card on a real transfer, contact Entrovox support to make sure it’s turned on for your agency.

1

Install extension

Open Entrovox Screen-Pop on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Pin it from Chrome’s puzzle icon so it stays in your toolbar. Requires Chrome 116 or newer.

2

Click the Entrovox icon and sign in with your Entrovox work email and password. Google sign-in isn’t supported in the extension yet.

3

Confirm connected

Check the status shows Connected. Then click Send test card in the popup. You should see a test window and notification within a couple of seconds. No call is placed.

2. When a call is transferred to you

The moment a warm transfer arrives:

  • A card window pops up on your screen.
  • You get a desktop notification with the line of business, lead name and number.

What’s on the card

  • Lead name, so you can greet them by name
  • Phone number (click to copy)
  • Line of business, such as auto or home
  • Qualification score and lead source, when available
  • Key details for that line of business
  • Call brief from the AI, with show more
  • Time the transfer came in

Buttons

  • Mark as answered: tells your team you have it. Others see “Taken by” your name.
  • Open lead details: opens the full lead in the Entrovox console. Clicking the card does the same.
  • Close: after a call is taken, clears the card for you only.
  • ✕: dismisses the card for you only.

Tips for a smooth handoff

  • Read the name and brief before you say hello.
  • Use what the AI captured so the lead doesn’t repeat themselves.
  • Click Mark as answered right away so teammates know it’s covered.

3. Other features

  • Live lead alerts: if your admin sets you up, you get a card with a countdown while the AI is still on a call. Click I am available and Entrovox rings your phone. These alerts chime and repeat about every 10 seconds until someone claims the lead.
  • Recent list: the popup shows your recent transfers and live leads.
  • Settings in the popup:
    • Notification sound (off by default)
    • Live lead alert sound (on by default)
    • Bring window to front (on by default)
    • Notification only (no window)
    • Theme: Light, Dark or Match system
    • Verbose logging (leave off unless support asks)
  • Toolbar badge: OFF means nobody is signed in. ! means notifications are blocked or the connection is down.

4. Permissions and why

  • Notifications: desktop alerts for transfers.
  • Alarms: checks the connection and restarts it if Chrome closed it.
  • Offscreen: keeps one background connection open so transfers arrive in real time.
  • Storage: remembers your sign-in and settings on this computer.
  • Entrovox servers only: receives your transfers and sends live lead claims. Chrome may say “read and change your data” on those sites. The extension can’t see other websites.

5. Troubleshooting

Status does not show “Connected”

Open the popup, click Sign out, and sign back in. If it says Reconnecting, wait a moment or check your internet.

Test card works but no cards on real transfers

A test card only checks this computer. It does not place a call. If you are connected and the test card appears, but a real transfer never does, contact Entrovox support to make sure it’s turned on for your agency.

No card window appears during transfer

Turn off Notification only (no window) in the popup. Cards can also open behind full-screen apps or on a second monitor.

Missing notification banners

In the popup, check Chrome notifications says Allowed. If it says Blocked in Chrome, allow Chrome in your computer’s notification settings. On a Mac, turn off Focus or Do Not Disturb, which Chrome can’t detect.

Can’t sign in

Use your Entrovox email and password. If you only sign in with Google, keep entrovox.com open in a tab instead. The console shows transfer alerts too.

Chrome turned the extension off after an update

Go to chrome://extensions, find Entrovox Screen-Pop, and approve the new permission.

Wrong or missing lead details

You only get cards for calls in your own agency. If you belong to more than one, check you’re signed in to the right account.
